Play Selection

The MCT Play Selection Committee is now accepting plays and musicals in consideration of our 2027 Season. Please review the guidelines below regarding the submission process.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PLAYS AND/OR MUSICALS
FOR CONSIDERATION IN OUR 2027 SEASON: 
SUNDAY, MAY 3, 11:59 PM

Please DO NOT share a link to this webpage, or MCT’s website, online in any capacity, inclusive of but not limited to Facebook groups, social media, message boards, or newsletters.

A. PARAMETERS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

  1. The minimum length for performance is approximately 90 minutes.
  2. MCT members may submit up to 2 plays and/or musicals.
  3. General public* may submit 1 play or musical.
  4. Scripts must be submitted digitally, and must be legible for consideration.
  5. Musical submissions must include a YouTube (or video) link to a production, or link to a copy of the cast recording. 

B. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

If you would like to submit a play or musical for consideration:

  • Please fill out the online submission form.
  • Refer to the above parameters above.
  • Please provide a link to a pdf of the play or musical in the online submission form. If the play or musical is not available via a link, please email a pdf copy to vp@mctshows.org. 
  • *Playwrights:
    • We are only accepting plays that are published or have been previously presented.
    • If previously presented, please include at least one review in pdf format.
    • If you submitted a play/musical for a previous season, please reach out to VP@mctshows.org and we will see if your play is on file.
